Antelope Canyon, Navajo Nation, Arizona
Antelope Canyon is a well known photographers paradise. It is a "slot" canyon, very narrow at the top, often only a few feet, and from 3 to 12 feet or so wide at the bottom. At the right time of day, beams of light stream in creating dramatically beautiful moments. The canyons are carved by water and sand erosion over millions of years.
