Photography as drawing. As a former art student who never drew or painted well enough to meet my own high standards, I always loved and admired very accurate, realistic drawing. I have done a lot of black and white photography over the years, but the recent advances in post processing techniques in HDR black and white have allowed me to make pictures that I would have drawn if I had the craft and patience to do so.
